New name, new brand. Same mission.

In June, The Maine Center for Cancer Medicine and Blood Disorders announced its new brand identity—New England Cancer Specialists. Over the past year, CD&M has worked with the independent cancer care practice to develop their new name, logo and corporate identity materials to better reflect its evolution into an innovative and comprehensive treatment and research facility.

Getting into the swing of things

As the golf season fast approaches, Val Halla Golf Course turned to CD&M to help change it's marketing course. This spring, television spots will air to drive traffic and create awareness of the golf course. 

CD&M Design Patrol

Fueled by little sleep, but plenty of Shipyard beer and slices of Portland Pie, CD&M’s Design Patrol Team skied around the clock at this year’s Downhill 24 held at Mt. Abrams. We designed the event logo, and thanks to the generosity of many friends and clients, our team was the fourth highest fund-raising group. Together with 27 other teams, the 2nd annual Downhill 24 raised over $58,000 for WinterKids. Learn more at!

German Window Engineering - Now In The U.S.

Construction is underway for the Menck Windows manufacturing site in Chicopee, MA. Developed in partnership with Menck-Fenster of Hamburg, Germany, the facility will begin producing high-end, energy-efficient windows for architects and builders. CD&M is assisting the new company's marketing start-up.

Shout-Out to our Fearless Leader

The Ad Club of Maine's 2013 Broderson Awards were recently held and CD&M was proud to be in attendance to cheer on our very own Bob Cott, who was the recipient of the Joan Dow Lifetime Creative Achievement Award. Bob was recognized as a significant, creative member of Maine's advertising community, having served as Ad Club president, and chaired countless committees including the Brodersons. Congratulations, Bob!

Kennebunk Savings & CD&M

Congratulations to Kennebunk Savings for winning "Best of Show" at the New England Financial Marketing Association Gala Awards. The NEFMA Awards recognize the best in community bank and credit union marketing in the six-state New England region. We're pleased to share the award for the "Ask Us!" television campaign that features real people asking their own financial-related questions. How did we do it? Ask us!

Connecting People - That's What We Do.

CD&M recently completed a second campaign for the QuitLink, the Maine community of online support to quit smoking. With the help of the Center for Tobacco Independence and the Partnership For A Tobacco-Free Maine, we were able to connect more people to online cessation resources than ever before. The integrated QuitLink campaign increased Facebook followers by over 4,200, drove YouTube views upwards of 30,000, increased website visits by over 60,000, and utilized interactive TV with a 12% response rate in just six weeks. We're thrilled the QuitLink connects people to resources that will help them quit smoking.

Banking on Maine's Future

CD&M is pleased to be working with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. The 125-year-old bank has a history of helping its customers succeed while also helping local communities thrive. With branches throughout Midcoast and Downeast Maine, the bank is continuing to grow in established and new markets. CD&M is working with the bank as it develops strategies for creating meaningful customer connections.

Safety Smarts

CD&M was asked by the Portland Police Department for assistance in making the public aware of basic issues regarding home safety, car thefts and issues such as cross-walking. We created a campaign called Safety Smarts. The information given to the public does not pretend to make them safe, but merely safer by using common sense.

We've developed three informative public safety announcements. You can listen to the first one about preventing auto thefts, which is currently running on a number of local radio stations.

The Doctor Will See Us Now

We're pleased to announce we've recently begun work with Maine Center for Cancer Medicine. MCCM opened in 1978, and is a private medical group practice composed of oncologists and hematologists, with four different locations in Maine.

We'll be working with them to refresh their brand and raise awareness about their unique position among cancer care providers in Maine.
